Why I Hate Hannity

The reasons to hate Sean Hannity are as limitless as they are for O'Reilly, and amazingly, they're different!

But here's one example that says it all:

Hannity has a panel discussion everyday on his Fox show, and yesterday he had on the previously unknown filthiest liberal ever…

Tony Danza

You read that right… the filthiest of the filthy!

"But Sean, about government healthcare… you always assume the worst – that they'll automatically screw it up."

That's by no means an exact quote, but it indicates the midget mentality of this guy Danza.

Today on the panel, Hannity has a Fox business broad (in lieu of what I want to call her), Rebecca Hagelin, and what's the first thing she says? It was about the mortgage crisis, and it was, "But Sean, you have to remember that this started under Republicans."

I'm sorry to report that as far as I know, she's still living.

But my point is that Hannity lets these glacier-sized pieces of scum get away with saying these things. I said to my wife, "Can you imagine Rush Limbaugh entertaining such garbage?"

Her: NOOOO!

Me: Or Savage?

Her: Oh my GOD!

And that's why I wish someone would start a conservative news channel to rival MSNBC.

About tedwest

A longtime veteran of comedy and political forums, I decided that I needed a more restful venue because... well... I finally hate everybody. Except my wife that is... and my ex-wife.. and... no, that's about it. I lead about as simple a life as one can, preferring activities that include anything that doesn't involve going out and seeing YOU! And I particularly enjoy what I call "Get the Bitch" movies on Lifetime. You know the ones where the intended victim finally does something so incredibly stupid that she forfeits her right to live, and from that moment on you're rooting for the stalker. Of course, it rarely works out the way you want, but when it does, the feeling you get is... well, there's nothing else like it, other than, maybe, eating chocolate chip cookies. Oh, and I'm proudly anti-wildlife, both foreign and domestic, and anti-environment - especially foreign environments. I think Howard Stern put it best when he said, "If fifty percent of the population died tomorrow, I can live with that." And I feel the same about the other fifty percent, so together, we've pretty much got it all covered.

  1. I don't like Hannity because he has very little backbone. He never goes for the throat on any issue. And I am so tired of hearing, "Thank you, my friend," and "You're a great American," "No, you're a great American," "No, really, you're a great American."We're all great Americans, can we actually talk about something now?By the way, Ted, you're a great American.

  2. Darcy says:

No really, I think you are both great Americans! What I don't like about Hannaby is his "WILL YOU ANSWER THE FREAKING QUESTION?" rants. Where's the remote?

  3. TedWest says:

    Harmony,
That's exactly what I picked up on when I read your first post – that it's more important to attack than to wait until every T is crossed and I dotted. That's the way I am, and 99.9% of conservatives are like Hannity or worse – except when it comes to attacking me! Which reminds me, have you met Timothy?

  4. TedWest says:

    Darcy,
I don't listen to Hannity, I just catch him when there's nothing else on at seven o'clock, and I really get crazy when he does what he did the other night – refer to Alan Colmes as his friend.
And I was just thinking, I like this "You're a great American" line coming from Harmony and you. it seems to carry a different meaning than if Hannity said it… almost as if I was one!

  5. Darcy says:

Ha! My mother loves Hannity except she calls him "Hannaby" so I do too.

  6. TedWest says:

So that wasn't a typo! Hannity means well, but he's miserably weak

  7. Darcy says:

No not a typo. We tease her all the time but she won't change. He's Hannaby, today, tomorrow and forever. And yes, Ted, you are a great American!

  8. Jordan says:

Those, in a nutshell, are the same reasons I dislike Hannity. Traitors (liberals) do Not "Great Americans" make and I don';t believe that truth needs to be gold-plated and "balanced" with lies and distortions.

  9. Lexann says:

Ted, Is there anyone (besides Rush and possibly your wife) that you DON'T hate?
    But you're a great American.

  10. TedWest says:

LOL. yes, there are, but I would agree that there are very few. I'm sure that even some people I like online, I wouldn't if I knew them in real life. I as put on the wrong planet, and I didn't get to choose. So if there's an afterlife, my parents got trouble.

  11. Jordan says:

I hope I am in your column of "indifferent" people.

  12. TedWest says:

Jordan, I was concerned that someone might take my words personally, and I don't want to make this an individual thing, I was speaking generally. After I posted, I got to thinking about Lexann's comment, and I realized that twenty years ago, I could have named a bunch of prominent people I liked – Reagan, Rush, even people in show business. Not today. There are people I respect, but I don't know them enough to like them
But my experience with Vox is that there are more people here I like than in all the other services I've been on combined.
Am I to presume that by 'indifferent," you mean those I can tolerate, but can also take or leave? If so, I don't react that way. With me, it's all black and white. I either like someone or I don't, and when I don't, they know it. That doesn't mean it's permanent though.

  13. Jordan says:

Yeah.Tolerate. I have gone through enough "love-hate" relationships to last me a lifetime. My sentiments too about Vox having a bigger number of people whom remain pleasant even when disagreements arise.

  14. Lexann says:

I either like someone or I don't, and when I don't, they know it. That doesn't mean it's permanent though.
    Except Timothy…cause he's a great American.

  15. TedWest says:

Timothy is one of the bigger weasels I've come across, and that's saying something. I'm sure he has no trouble justifyinig his actions with his Christianity, and that's one reason why some people feel hostility toward Christians. he gives them a bad name.
I don't know how muuch you know about the situation, but Timothy is the single-most despicable character I've met here.
