A Black Mark On America

How long has Barack Obama been President now, six or eight months? Anyway, I know it's been less than a year, and yet I'm becoming increasingly concerned.

It's become a cliché, and almost a badge of honor that Bobo is a blank slate who had accomplished nothing before becoming President, but it's typical of this sort of person to believe that his shortcomings actually have the positive effect that he hadn't been "contaminated" by people and institutions, and that he's thus able to see things in an unbiased manner.

He looks, he sees, he assesses, and … he is able to know better than anyone what's needed in terms of money, and cabinet members, and action to make the world better.

And it's possible.

But I think it's more likely that either Obama's strings are being pulled by others, or that because of his inexperience, he's an idealist who intends to conduct a giant experiment – on us – similarly to how Lenin and his successors did, and possibly using the same sort of tactics.

So it's official, Obama is dangerous.

Now, it's true that some dangerous people do bring positive results – just look at all the villains James Bond has thwarted as the best example.

It's just that if you heard Obama say, "Obama… Barack Obama," well, did you hear what I heard, "Smart… Maxwell Smart?"

But then even Max was dangerous, yet he still beat the bad guys in the end, so what am I worried about?

About tedwest

A longtime veteran of comedy and political forums, I decided that I needed a more restful venue because... well... I finally hate everybody. Except my wife that is... and my ex-wife.. and... no, that's about it. I lead about as simple a life as one can, preferring activities that include anything that doesn't involve going out and seeing YOU! And I particularly enjoy what I call "Get the Bitch" movies on Lifetime. You know the ones where the intended victim finally does something so incredibly stupid that she forfeits her right to live, and from that moment on you're rooting for the stalker. Of course, it rarely works out the way you want, but when it does, the feeling you get is... well, there's nothing else like it, other than, maybe, eating chocolate chip cookies. Oh, and I'm proudly anti-wildlife, both foreign and domestic, and anti-environment - especially foreign environments. I think Howard Stern put it best when he said, "If fifty percent of the population died tomorrow, I can live with that." And I feel the same about the other fifty percent, so together, we've pretty much got it all covered.
