I Can’t Believe My Eyes!

The mainstream media correcting Obamaspin? And the AP no less?

Could it be that the media is having its doubts about what it's done and how it might affect the future of America? First the polls narrow, and now an article critical of The One? If this keeps up McCain might only "enjoy" a 3 to 1 disadvantage in coverage come November 4th.

About tedwest

A longtime veteran of comedy and political forums, I decided that I needed a more restful venue because... well... I finally hate everybody. Except my wife that is... and my ex-wife.. and... no, that's about it. I lead about as simple a life as one can, preferring activities that include anything that doesn't involve going out and seeing YOU! And I particularly enjoy what I call "Get the Bitch" movies on Lifetime. You know the ones where the intended victim finally does something so incredibly stupid that she forfeits her right to live, and from that moment on you're rooting for the stalker. Of course, it rarely works out the way you want, but when it does, the feeling you get is... well, there's nothing else like it, other than, maybe, eating chocolate chip cookies. Oh, and I'm proudly anti-wildlife, both foreign and domestic, and anti-environment - especially foreign environments. I think Howard Stern put it best when he said, "If fifty percent of the population died tomorrow, I can live with that." And I feel the same about the other fifty percent, so together, we've pretty much got it all covered.

On question no. 3, I think the answer is yes. Also, a “sure thing” doesn’t sell news, and the media love a tight race.

I certainly agree with all you've said, but it's important to remind people that individual polls have a rather large interest in being as close to accurate as possible in the end.

  3. Just remember the headline: "Dewey Defeats Truman."

Well, just in case the MSM is wrong, and Obama doesn't win by a landslide, perhaps they want to scale down their pandering for the 2 weeks before the election. That way, after the election, they can talk about how partisan and unbiased they were, with a "See, we told you so!"
