Yesterday, John McCain and Sarah Palin returned to the electrifying kind of speeches they gave at the Republican Convention. Today Sarah Palin is giving a different speech, a policy speech on energy. It is (she's still speaking) quite different in tone and, well, energy from the one she gave yesterday… but it's no less electrifying.
That's because she's doing what Barack Obama, Joe Biden, and even John McCain can't do… she's speaking from experience about how she dealt with and is dealing with Alaska's energy program. She's both knowledgeable and forceful, self-assured and reassuring, and anyone watching can immediately see that she's not only qualified to be Vice President, she's the best qualified of all the candidates from an executive standpoint. You can imagine her as the President, and you feel confident that the country would be in good hands.
That's as contrasted with the guy the Dems are running.
We know Sarah Palin is quite a woman from her life story, her speaking ability, and forgive me, her looks, but today we're seeing a view of Sarah the Chief Executive. It would be a tragedy if the country is deprived of her talent.
Though not nearly as big a tragedy as it would be if we're not deprived of Obama's.
John McCain and Sarah Palin are not just the best choice, they are the best choice we could have had for this election of all the people who ran.
Keep the faith, it's not over till its over.
