Did you know that Governor Palin took her kids to events at government expense? That was the lead story last night on a day in which the lesser news was that Joe Biden had said we were in for an international crisis within six months of Obama taking office, and that we wouldn't be all that happy with his response.
When pressed about Biden's remarks on that subject, Andrea Mitchell, wife of the reprehensible Alan Greenspan, couldn't recall Biden's comments in their entirety nor whether they had been aired on NBC and its Obama affiliate.
The story about Palin is still out there, but it probably lost traction when people took note of the AP's throwaway line:
Alaska law does not specifically address expenses for a governor's children. The law allows for payment of expenses for anyone conducting official state business.
And it's now been supplanted by a more important story of how the GOP spent a hundred and fifty grand on Palin's wardrobe and grooming. Liberals were horrified because that's more than Biden spent on hair plugs in his entire life.
Meanwhile, terrorists are trying to decide whether to select from Biden's four or five scenarios to test Obama or to plan one of their own.
All that's bad enough of course, but if some of you conservatives still want to have discussions with liberals without preconditions, you might want to check out some of their comments about Biden's dire warning first…
